This is an excellent school that provides a lot of opportunities for the kids academically and athletically.

i am an eighth grader going into high school this year, trying to choose between liberty high school and Timberland. i am torn because Liberty just doesnt seem as fun as Timberland because of how little it is, and the fact that there are less people. i also struggle slightly in math, and i believe that Timberland may be able to help because of all of the other people. i also like to be in competitive band, so i think i may in the end decide to switch to Timberland instead of Liberty. I really am grateful that all of these great reviews have helped me to make decisions for my future. Thank you!

I have two daughters attending Timberland and they both love it. The curriculum is challenging and prepares them for college. We're very happy overall with Timberland.

I'm a sophomore at Timberland and recently moved from another school district and have to say that I've found Timberland to be a great High School. The teachers are experienced and that makes a big difference in the kind of education you receive. I will be going to college after I graduate and feel confident that I will be prepared.

I'll be graduating this year (Class of 2013). I've really disliked this school so far. The level of difficulty of classes isn't very high. Also, this school only really cares about students who are in sports related activities, it's really insulting.

Do not send your kids here. The schools faculty acts like there all big and bad. They only Care about their future and not yours, just like the other day when the lady at the desk told my dad the principle was In a meeting when he was staring at him talking together teachers in the lunch room. I truthfully hate this school I try to make up excuses to not go school everyday.plus the teachers don't teach you anything and expect you to remember it for a test they do dress professional but they really do not know much.and the school is way to overcrowded, overall a bad school and a bad start to your future.

I'm a past student, graduated a few years ago and went on to attend Mizzou, the school is relatively new, making the staff somewhat inexperienced but the experience comes with time, the district in whole is growing at a phenomenal rate so this is to be expected. As far as the education goes, if you put your mind to it and actually try to get something out of your education this school will adequately prepare you for a great future, wether it be to attend a university of join the work force. Though one subject I believe the school should strengthen is its math curriculum. During my first year at Mizzou I realized my peers were much more prepared than I was in math, requiring me to take a few more preparatory math courses somewhat delaying my degree. Requiring students to take courses to prepare them for college level math courses such as college algebra will quickly fix this problem, though things may have changed since I last attended Timberland.

Horrible from start to finish. If you have a special needs child avoid this "school" at all costs. Even my previously straight "A" kids dreaded going here. The staff all pretend to know how to run a school by trying to dress professionally and having about as much emotion as a corporate attorney....don't let them fool you, they're clueless.

Timberland high school is not a good highschool experience for me. The only reason I go here is to be with my friends, otherwise I would have gone to CHS. I am only happy with a few of my teachers and I really dislike the principal.

timberland highschool is the best ever. it is a great school. i cheer there, & i love almost everyday at THS. i come home everyday with a new story about classes, boys, friends, classes, and more. most of the teachers make learning so much fun because of the way they teach. i wouldnt want to go to any other school.

As a mother of three graduating seniors from THS, I am willing to give an insight that many others may not. And my sons all had differenent needs from some minor learning diabilities to advanced student. Timberland is what you make of it. The excellent teachers are there to teach you and have you well prepared for college but it is up to you to do it. Having more kids, we have also experienced other high school which has no comparison. So if you are a student posting a 'review' obviously you didn't seek advice to help you achieve what you wanted. A teacher leaving a horrible 'review' seek employment elsewhere because you can not teach thoroughly with that attitude. THS - is not perfect but they try to deal with all issues. BTW, I will leave my name - I am not embarrassed. Debe Canaday
